I like to start by understanding why you want permanent makeup and what you would like to achieve.

I will share my thoughts and ideas about what colours, shape and effects will best flatter you. I take many factors into account when many a recommendation including your lifestyle, colouring, undertone and level of contrast. You are welcome to wear your usual makeup or bring images with you to help demonstrate what you are looking to achieve. I like to draw on the recommended shape at the consultation so wear both on the same page.

It’s important I assess your suitability for permanent makeup so will cover your medical history and do a patch test to check for any allergies. Please come to the consultation with details of any medication you are currently taking.

​Following a successful consultation and patch test a £50 deposit will be needed to secure your initial treatment session.

Now you can look forward to having your treatment and having smudge proof and professionally applied makeup.

I start by recapping what we are looking to achieve. I then apply a topical anaesthetic to the area which is going to to be treated.

Before I start the treatment I will show you my recommended colour and for the brows and lips I will draw on the desired shape. Once you are happy with all aspects, I will ask you to read and sign the treatment consent form.

​It’s now time to relax. I am pleased to say a number of clients have fallen asleep during their treatments.

After the treatment is finished is the big reveal (which is my favourite part).

I will provide you with full written aftercare instructions to take home and some vitamin A and D cream to soothe and protect your skin. I will be available during the healing process for any questions you might have.

For brows and lips you should allow yourself 3 hours for the total appointment and 2 hours for eyeliner.

It is time to come back for any refinements to be made. It is key to leave the skin 6 weeks to heal following treatment as the healing process can effect the depth of colour and shape of the treated area. This session is usually much shorter than the initial treatment session. You will again be supplied with aftercare instructions and Vitamin A and D cream. We will finish by scheduling in a 12 month review to see if a top up is needed.
