Can I have permanent makeup if I am blonde?

I always hear the same concern from my blonde and light browed clients when they first meet me, “I am worried I will end up with dark brows”.   They worry their brow hairs are too light, too sparse and question if permanent makeup can give them a natural look.  Please look at my before and after photos to reassure yourself.

Below is a healed photo of blonde powder brows which are a typical result in terms of both colour and the softness that can be achieved once the brows are healed.  As the photo demonstrates, straight after the treatment and for the first couple of days, the brows can appear warmer in colour and a darker.  As the skin heals the colour will cool and become softer and lighter, blending in with and also serving to highlight the appearance of any existing hairs you have.

When recommending the perfect blonde for you, I will consider your skin tone.  Are you neutral, cool or warm?  If you are not sure don’t worry, I can explain to you what your skin tone is and why.  I will also take into account your hair colour, some blondes look fantastic with a stronger coloured brow such as a taupe or different shades of browns.

I also get asked if blondes are able to have microbloading.  Microblading can be fantastic for blondes as the realistic hair strokes can be adapted to provide a range of flattering styles, from soft and fluffy to a more defined shape.  Whether you would best benefit from microblading or a powder brow, very much depends on your skin type and we can discuss this at your free consultation.
