I’ve had permanent makeup before, can I come to you?
The answer is usually yes. A number of my clients have had permanent makeup done previously by another artist and I have been able to successfully work on and give them the brows of their dreams. This is also often the case for lip blush and lash enhancement.
At the consultation I will assess 3 key things about the existing permanent makeup.
1. How much pigment is left in the skin? There needs to be room in the skin for me to be able to add more pigment.
2. How suitable is the colour? I consider if I can do any needed colour correction if the client wants to change the colour.
3. How suitable is the shape? Again, I consider if I can create a desirable shape taking into account what shape already exists.
If there are any challenges with any of these three considerations, there are excellent option for removal of the existing permanent makeup which I can talk through at the consultation.
You can find out more about what will happen at your consultation here.
I look forward to meeting you soon.

Left photo shows my client with the faded permanent makeup she had previously had done elsewhere. I was able to work on these without removal because the pigment had faded enough and the colour and shape were suitable.
The right photo shows them after her most recent session with me in April 2025. My client wanted them a little fuller, more defined and with visible hair strokes (which will soften a little as the skin heals over the following weeks). She was delighted.
I have lots of other examples I can show you at the consultation.
